For the friend who is waiting on a job

I've been thinking this week about a friend who has been job hunting for almost a year. Long enough that the rejection emails don't sting in the same sharp way anymore — they just leave a quiet kind of tired. If that's you tonight: please pray with me. Pray for the right door to open, but more than that, pray for the strength to keep showing up to interviews with hope intact. The waiting is the hard part. Not the lack of work — the slow erosion of believing it'll happen. God, may every "no" be moving them toward a "yes" that fits. Keep their dignity intact when the world treats them like a number.
