Four privacy levels for prayer requests

• Public — anyone visiting Prayerground can read this request. Best for general matters.
  Example: "Please pray for me as I attend an important job interview this week."
• Members only — only signed-in members can see this request.
  Example: "Please pray for my family as we work through a difficult season."
• Private circle — only members of the circle you choose can see this request.
  Example: "Please pray for healing in a close family relationship — only my small group sees this."
• Journal — visible only to you. Used for personal prayers, sealed reflections, and private notes.
  Example: "A quiet prayer I want to keep just between God and me."

Anonymous and sealed prayers

You can post anonymously — your display name is hidden from everyone except admins (who keep a record so we can act on safety reports). You can also seal a prayer until a future date you choose, so even you only re-encounter it when the time arrives.

Follows, circles, and direct messages

• Following someone is public — your follower / following counts and lists are visible on your profile.
• Circle membership is visible to other members of the same circle. Posts shared to a circle stay within that circle.
• Direct messages between two members are visible only to those two members and to admins (who can review on a safety report).
• @mentions create a notification for the person mentioned and link to their profile.

What we store

• Your email, display name, username, and country (if you create an account). Country is shown publicly only if you opt in.
• Your prayer requests, comments, journal entries, "I prayed" actions, reactions, follows, circle memberships, and direct messages.
• Avatars you upload — stored as small images on our server.
• A hashed form of your IP address, used only to prevent abuse.
• Notifications produced by your activity and the activity of people you interact with.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't share private requests, journal entries, circle posts, or DMs publicly.
• We don't send marketing emails outside Prayerground. We do send transactional emails — sign-up confirmation, spam-flag verification, and the occasional admin notice.

Your control

You can edit, close, or delete your prayer requests, journal entries, and uploaded avatar at any time. You can change whether your country is visible, and you can leave a circle or block / unfollow another member from your profile or message thread.
